The airline industry could have
argued in 1978 against
deregulation by purporting
that competition will cause fares to increase because the duplication of services with their over 200 million dollar a piece jumbo jets.
Luckily, this fell on deaf ears and
the airline industry is now
a large and growing one providing excellent quality at an affordable price.I do not know if airline executives
are laughing at the hospital administrator’s absurd argument of the horrors caused by a possible second MRI scanner coming into town or are crying as they sign the checks of their employee’s health care bills.
