Conclusion
It is
stated that the health care industry does not respond to the same market forces as other businesses. But what else is to be expected when State sanctioned monopolies all but assure customers and meaningful price and quality information is hidden from patients? The KY
Certificate of Need should be abolished.
The veil of secrecy
should be lifted off of prices and
quality so effective competition can take place. It is
estimated that we have 6 years to correct the system before the Government enacts a single payer system.
